Moustapha Cisse

Professor Moustapha Cisse is the founder and CEO of Kera Health Platforms based in Senegal. He is a scientist committed to building an axiological Artificial Intelligence to improve the lives of those who need it most. Before founding Kera Health, he founded Google's first engineering and AI research center in Africa, located in Accra, Ghana. Before that, he was a research scientist at Facebook AI research. Moustapha Cisse is a Professor of AI at the African Institute of Mathematical Sciences, where he is the founder and Director of the African Masters of Machine Intelligence, the continent's first graduate program in AI—a native of Senegal, Pr. Cisse's academic journey in mathematics and physics began at the University of Gaston Berger. He holds a Ph.D. in Machine Learning from the University of Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris, France.
